Core Responsibilities Your primary duties include conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services and identify individual learning needs. You'll administer standardized assessments virtually, interpret results within the context of multiple data sources, and write detailed evaluation reports with educationally relevant recommendations. Participation in virtual IEP meetings is essential, where you'll present findings and collaborate with teams to develop appropriate educational plans. You'll provide consultation to teachers regarding behavioral interventions, classroom accommodations, and instructional strategies. Crisis intervention, threat assessment, and student counseling fall within your scope of practice. Documentation must meet professional standards and comply with state and federal special education requirements.
Required Credentials and Experience Applicants must hold current Kentucky School Psychologist licensure and possess a Master's degree or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Two years of school experience working with students with disabilities is required. We value candidates with experience in RTI/MTSS frameworks, functional behavior assessments, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
